My Five Pillars

We can live life with one, some or many pillars. Pillars hold up our being, make us who we are. I feel I have 5 main pillars to which I strive to live by.

We can live life with one, some or many pillars. Pillars hold up our being, make us who we are. I feel I have 5 main pillars to which I strive to live by:

  1. Physical movement. (I choose Qigong as my physical practice along with weight training at the gym).
  2. Breathe. Not just unconscious breathing as most of us do each day to stay alive but conscious breathing deeply or with retention on the in-breath and out-breath. Pattern breathing is helpful. You can seek out breath masters and various exercises to accomplish what is possible and what you need.
  3. Food. High alkaline, low acidic food will keep you alive and healthy. Balance is key. Organic and unprocessed foods is best. If its got a barcode it’s probably not what your body needs.
  4. Meditation. This is critical to your inner development and realization of oneness. Once a day minimum. Three times per day is optimal. Don’t worry about doing it “right”. Just do it. Find a teacher, download a meditation song. Get on it. Master it (should only take a lifetime).
  5. Energy work. Everything in the universe is energy at a quantum level. Science knows it and you know it. Accept that the atoms in your body have been in existence for billions of years and will continue for billions of years. What you are made of is eternal. Now get on with it. Everything is energy, everything vibrates so work with that. Learn to flow with it, learn to manipulate it, learn to use it. This is your innate human gift of thought. What you think will move energy. Amplified thought moves A LOT of energy. That’s the mark of successful people and is also the mark of highly unsuccessful people. The ability to move high volumes of energy with thought.
Pick your pillars. They are the legs that will carry you the rest of your life. If you don’t like one or all of yours then change them anytime.
